This is a great video about looking for God's hand in our lives each and every day and documenting what we see. This is a practice I'd like to start myself in order to increase my awareness and gratitude for God's blessings . . . Watch Video. Will you join me? :)
My journal has saved me so many times. I now understand why it is said "Keeping a journal keeps the Savior in remembrance" because as I look back at the blessings I consistently recorded, I can more consistently remember his hand in my life. I even try to index my journals by topic now so I can easily get back to a particular memory.

I love this talk! I started keeping a journal like this when he first gave this talk, almost two years ago. It is absolutely life-changing! As we realize and acknowledge how frequently God is in our lives, our gratitude automatically increases! It is the best way I have ever found to increase gratitude! Thanks for sharing this Marnie -- it was great to see it again!

I loved this thought of remembering how God in His infinite mercy looks after us each day.I must be more consistent with keeping a journal to thank Him for His blessings and His mercies.

Thanks Marnie. I purposely used this method for that year and when the journal was full I wasn't as focused. I will get back to it.

This makes all the difference in the world. I have been trying to have a moment of gratitude each night during our family gathering time and sometimes it is not very exciting because we repeat the same things over and over but sometimes it is miracluous how our hearts are softened and changed through looking for the hand of the Lord each day
