I got an email yesterday from someone who wanted to take advantage of the promotion we're giving people in conjunction with the Trust Your Heart: Transform Your Ideas to Income launch this Wednesday (May 18). When you buy the book, you get a listing for your lead generator on our download page so every buyer of the book can see your offer.
This individual wrote me, heartbroken that she had earmarked the money to pay for the book on launch day, but her husband had to spend it on something else and now she wouldn't be able to buy the $10.85 book.
This really struck me and I mentioned it to my husband. I'm so used to coming up with ideas for fast revenue generators I had a hard time wrapping my mind around not being able to generate $10.85 in 3 days. My husband reminded me that not everyone knows how to do that.
Honestly, it made me feel sad that someone could be stuck in this place. So, I started thinking... if I wanted to teach someone how to generate money fast, what would I tell them to do?
I'm assuming the person who wrote me already has a web site and a lead generator or she wouldn't be wanting to take advantage of our promotion special with the book launch. So, here's what I would suggest...
First, get your thinking straight. The best way I know to do that is to hop over and get a free copy of Leslie Householder's ebook, "The Jackrabbit Factor: Why You Can!" This bestseller is a fast read and will transform your thinking around what it takes to generate the money and resources you need in your life. In fact, anything you can get from Leslie Householder would help. She literally transformed my life 10 years ago with the things she taught me. I'd also recommend her free 19 Rules of Prosperity.
Second, create a quick product. Now that you've got your thinking in the right direction... Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLGfciOkewY and watch Kathleen Gage's video on how to generate income from low-priced reports. The fastest way I know to generate a report is to get on the phone with someone and have them interview you around a subject. Record the call (if you don't have a byoaudio.com account or something like that, find a friend who does). Or a free way to do it would be to sign up with www.FreeConference.com , use that teleconference line to conduct the interview and they will record your call for free.
Now, transcribe the call and clean it up a bit. Save the audio as an MP3 and the report as a PDF. A couple free tools you can use for this are
- Audacity for audio editing (if the call needs editing)
- CutePDF for creating PDF's

Third, get the word out. You can do this through Facebook and Twitter. You can call in some favors from friends to help you spread the word. If you have a list, be sure to send it to them. Blog about it. Be sure to follow through. It takes more than one post or one email to sell something so don't be afraid to send a reminder email in a day or two. Don't be afraid to post to Twitter 3 times throughout a 24 hour period. Different people are on at different times. You can also post information excerpts from your report and increase the number of posts you make to Twitter and Facebook.
Accomplishing this in a 3-day period will take some fast-action, but it CAN be done. Just set your mind to it! And ask yourself, how bad do I want my money situation to change? You are in control of your life! Take action!
