A quality video that establishes your credibility and professionalism is a hot ticket to reaching your market in the best way possible. Affiliate Marketers, Are You Getting Ripped Off?

Affiliate marketing has been very good to me, and I think it's a brilliant concept. The merchant doesn't have to pay a penny until his affiliate makes a sale, and the affiliate doesn't have to invest heavily in creating his own products. However, many affiliates are getting ripped off, BIG TIME, and don't even realize it.

Some shams are glaringly obvious. One being a BIG link right in the middle of a sales page inviting potential customers to join the affiliate program. The affiliate spends lots of time and money driving potential customers to a site. Then, the merchant interrupts the sales process and invites the customer to NOT make a purchase, but to sign up as an affiliate instead. Many prospective customers do sign up, then buy through their own affiliate links for an instant discount!

Email Marketing Open Rates: Are They Reliable?

Are you tracking the open rates for your email marketing campaigns?

    You should be.

But before you get started, there are a few things to keep in mind:

Open rates are not the final word in email marketing. All open rates really tell you is that those readers have images turned on so the tracking imaged was loaded.

Any readers that don't have images turned on but still read your message won't be counted in your open rate tracking. But they did read your message and that is what you're after.

    Beginning Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing programs are a great way to earn money online and a great introduction to e-commerce. You leverage products and services from others to make a profit.

"Affiliate marketing programs are the process when a company offers to pay you either a set amount for a click through from your website, or a set amount for visitors signing up, or even a percentage of a purchase made by visitors as a result of being referred from your website."

Business Success Strategies -- Are You on a High or a Low?

At Alex Mandossian's Teleseminar Secrets Reunion, we did a "timeline" exercise. Alex started it by charting his highlights and lowlights from the past 20 years. It was fascinating to see this laid out for us and to know even someone like Alex was in the abyss at a couple of points.

Even more importantly, I learned two important takeaways I wanted to share with you.

    Stop Selling and Start Teaching!

The other day I walked into a local furniture store and three salespeople almost knocked each other over trying to get to me first.

The lucky winner who did manage to reach me, took my arm and said slickly, "I'm Stan, you just tell me what you're looking for sweetheart."

Despite the fact that I'm not a big fan of the "sweetheart" phrase, I smiled, "Oh, I'm just looking . . . ." But, I could tell that Stan would not be shut down so easily.

Three Critical Aspects of Effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

The primary goal of any search engine optimization (SEO) is to get your website found for relevant searched keyword terms in top positions in major search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. Getting your website to appear in top organic results for targeted keywords that people are actually searching is definitely a factor in producing website traffic. But equally important is the aspect of conversions. Does your website interrupt and engage the visitor in your message, producing quality leads and loyal customers? This SEO goal is often overlooked, even by SEO professionals who charge pricey fees for search engine optimization services. And let's face it, traffic to a website doesn't mean a heck of a lot if people do not stick around and convert to leads and customers.

Saying I Love You : Creating Your Own Cards with I Love You Quotes

Sharing well-chosen I love you quotes in a homemade card can mean much more to your loved one than an expensive store-bought card. You don't have to be an award winning writer to create a meaningful, heartfelt message either.

Poetry is the language of love. The only problem is that most of us are not poets. At best we can create a well used version of "Roses are red". If you are looking to wow your mate with some words of love, you are probably looking for the "I love you"
