Investors read newspaper articles and watch TV infomercials. They base their judgment on books or courses by so-called "real estate gurus." Who are these gurus? Most have been successful in the real estate investment business. However, a question always pops up in my mind. "Why aren't they doing it? "I suspect that, based on the prices they charge for their programs, they make more money selling programs than investing.
